Global Partnership

The 4th International Conference (EESD 2016) was a landmark event organized under the HEC-BC Knowledge Economy Partnership Project. It was a joint effort between the Energy & Environmental Engineering Research Group (EEERG), US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (US-PCASW), and Coventry University, UK.

Inaugurated by Syed Wamiq Bokhari (MD PPL), the conference emphasized the responsibility of energy experts to ensure proper utilization of natural resources for the country's growing population.

"EESD 2016 authors included researchers from UK, Italy, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Belgium, Iran, and Saudi Arabia."

Day 3 Excursion

Technical & Cultural Visit

On the 3rd day, participants visited the UNDP Model Village Ibrahim Jamali to see sustainable development in action. The trip also included visits to the historical Makli Graveyard, Shah Jehan Mosque, and Keenjhar Lake (Ramsar Site) in Thatta.
