Building Momentum

Following the success of the inaugural event, the 2nd International Conference (EESD 2012) was held from February 27–29, 2012. This edition cemented EESD as a premier platform for discussing the region's most pressing energy and environmental challenges.

Researchers presented promising ideas and projects, including comparative studies on Coal-Bed Methane vs. Natural Gas and the environmental impacts of fossil fuel utilization. The conference highlighted the urgent need for sustainable indigenous solutions to the energy crisis.
