Dr. Raheem has received her Ph.D. in Construction Management from the University of Florida (UF). She holds multiple master’s degrees in Building Construction, Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering from UF. She is now serving as an assistant professor at the University of Texas, El Paso. Dr. Raheem is an invited member of the President’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability at UTEP. She has also been a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and has served on multiple committees in the past few years. Dr. Mohd Haziman Wan Ibrahim is an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean (Academic and International) in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. He did PhD in field of Civil Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2011. His research expertise is in the Durability of Concrete, Sustainable Construction Materials, Brickwork and Concrete Technology. He has published two books and more than 100 research articles, technical reports and international conference papers. He is also a President of the Concrete Society Malaysia.
Dr. Selvaratnam is an Assistant Professor/Environmental Engineer with a primary focus on sustainable energy positive wastewater treatment technologies and biological water/wastewater treatment processes. His main research focus evolves around achieving bioremediation of municipal/ industrial wastewaters using an algal-based system. For his doctoral studies, he evaluated a novel approach to treat municipal wastewaters using an acidophilic mixotrophic algae.
Prof. Dr. Jennifer McKay is Professor of Business Law at the University of South Australia Business and Law School. She researches corporate law and the law of war. She makes suggestions for water law reform to deliver sustainable development. Her work has been in the urban and rural sphere with domestic laws in Australia, India, the US. Currently, Professor McKay has just completed a number of exciting projects, including researching water governance laws on groundwater and urban water resources, and working with the Goyder Institute for Water Research to determine the optimal mix of available sources to develop an integrated water management plan for the city of Adelaide. She also has a major project with the National Centre of Excellence in Desalination on the governance of desalinated water.
Mr. Xing Lei focused on promoting the innovation design, green design development by public good approach and launch the Dragon Design Award (National level), China Design Festival and Green Design Contribution Award successively. Mr. Xing promotes the design industry service platform-Design Valley, “Sino-EU Green innovation Park in China and Europe. He was nominated as Technical expert (Civil Engineering) in Prime Minister of Pakistan Inspection Committee. His name appears in Who’s Who in the World published by Marquis Who’s Who and Global Young Scientists Directory published by National Research Foundation of Singapore, Directory of Productive Scientists of Pakistan published by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology.
